Dixie's Plaza Garden

PlazaKnoll1.jpg

Funded by Wilbur May's daughter Dixie May, the Plaza Garden is adorned by colorful displays of perennials such as drift roses, spiderwort, ox-eye daisy and an outstanding display of day lilies during the summer. The small stone knoll was constructed specifically for newlyweds to exchange their wedding vows, making it ideal for a medium size ceremony (75-100). To accommodate a reception, the May Museum adjoins the garden and offers two large halls, indoor Garden Court with water falls and Koi ponds as well as a commercial kitchen for your convenience. This picturesque spot is available to rent through our Garden Rental Page or by calling our reservation desk at 775-823-6501.
