Welcome to the first Washoe County Commissioner Connections. I am pleased to share with you the first eNewsletter, developed to keep you informed on important issues in District 5, and throughout Washoe County.
We are pleased to report some exciting news. On September 10, the Board of County Commissioners selected Eric Brown as the next Washoe County Manager. Mr. Brown is an innovative organizational leader with a diverse set of skills and experience who will start November 25. I am confident that he will take our County organization to the next level. Meet The New Washoe County Manager: Eric Brown
A new County Manager is taking the helm of our vast organization at the end of this month. Eric Brown will assume the top spot for the second largest county in Nevada beginning November 25, leading the county’s 2,700 employees and continuing the Board of Commission’s mission of working together regionally to provide and sustain a safe, secure and healthy community.
