Memorials & Tributes
MEMORIALS AND TRIBUTES
$250.00 - Memorial Bricks
A respectable way to honor a loved one or pay tribute to a family member, friend or business, is through our memorial brick program. All bricks are located in the Labyrinth garden and only the name is engraved of the person, friend or business you are honoring.
$750.00 - Adopt-A-Tree Program
Trees are limited for adoption but our horticultural staff will schedule a meeting to advise you which trees are available. Upon adoption, you will receive certificate of adoption, a map with the tree location and a brass plaque that is placed in the Visitor Center at Rancho San Rafael Regional Park. We also offer a one-time replacement.
$2,500.00 - New Evergreen Trees
We are currently planting pine (conifers) trees and other either evergreen species at the north east side of the arboretum. If you are interested, our horticultural staff will meet with you and help you make the best choice for your special gift. Staff will order the tree either in the spring or fall and plant it. All new trees selections and introductions coincide with the Arboretum Master Plan or the needs of the collection. The cost includes; a one-time replacement, certificate of adoption, a map with the tree location and a brass plaque that is placed in the Visitor Center at Rancho San Rafael Regional Park. Because of the unique and diverse plant collection our policy no longer allows us to accept live plant material from donors or install special objects such as bronze memorial plaques, granite boulders, posts, water features etc.
$3,500 - Memorial Bench (This program has been suspended until further notice)
A memorial bench is wonderful way to honor a loved one or pay tribute to a family member, friend or business. Limited to certain areas of the garden, our staff will meet with you to find that special place for your memorial. A plaque will be placed on the bench in your honor.
