COVID-19 TESTING AND RECRUITMENT UPDATE:
The situation with COVID-19 is an ever-evolving one and we have been committed to following the situation closely with the safety and well-being of our employees, prospective candidates, and the general public at-large being our top priority.
In light of Governor Sisolak’s March 17, 2020 speech and the Washoe County Manager’s communication this morning, we have made the difficult decision to suspend all testing for recruiting purposes for the next 30 days, and candidates already scheduled for testing have been notified. If you have recruitments that are absolutely essential, please work with your assigned Analyst, who is working from home, to see if there are testing alternatives that could be put into play.
We thank you for your patience as we work through these challenging times and we will continue to keep you updated when and if additional changes to our recruiting process become necessary.
