Mission Statement

In full recognition of Washoe County's strategic plan and the goals and objectives established by the Board of County Commissioners, the Purchasing Division shall obtain the goods and services required by each department, division and agency of the County, ensuring that such are received at the correct time, in the right place and for the best price possible, further ensuring that all such purchases are legal, ethical and non-discriminatory.  Washoe County Purchasing thereby discharges its responsibility ot "Guard the Public Trust".
