The COVID-19 program provides metrics on COVID-19 impact in the community and information about the pandemic response, locally and globally. This includes metrics for Washoe County case counts, hospitalizations, deaths, and immunization information. Data for this program are obtained year-round through surveillance and case investigation. Community impact data and disease information are available for general public access. The interval of COVID-19 reports changed from biweekly to monthly at the conclusion of the national public health emergency in May 2023.
