Judge Sferrazza swears in new peace officers
Reno, Nevada. May 23, 2016. On Monday, May 23, 2016, Chief Justice of the Peace, Judge Peter Sferrazza, swore in new peace officer recruits who finished their training at the P.O.S.T. Academy. The completion of their training included a six-mile Peace Run from the Regional Public Safety Training Center near the Washoe County Jail to the James D. Hoff Memorial in Idlewild Park near Downtown Reno. A total of 32 new officers were sworn in.
