Lockwood Trail

Come walk with a Washoe County Ranger on the Lockwood Trail along a 1.2 mile loop on the beautiful Truckee River. This park is a hidden gem in Washoe County - nestled between I-80 and the Truckee River in a canyon just one exit east of Sparks.

On this Ranger Walk, Ranger Sarah will lead participants along the trail's winds and curves to engage hikers in an interactive hike that will show you all that this riparian habitat has to offer - cottonwoods shedding their colorful leaves, fishing spots, small beaches, stillwater lagoons, peninsulas to explore, bird nests to be found, and evidence of all the wildlife that calls the place home.

The meet-up location will be emailed to you on your receipt when you preregister.
