Mount Rose District
The Mount Rose District is the southern most area of Washoe County and it encompasses parks from the Galena area to the Virginia Foothills and further south to Washoe Valley.
Needless to say, this area holds some of our most historic parks as well as some of our best hiking trails, fishing and camping.
Bowers Mansion Regional Park, Davis Creek Regional Park and Campground and Galena Creek Regional Park are just a few of the amazing and historic parks you'll find in this region.
