Washoe County Parks & Trails
The mission of Washoe County Regional Parks and Open Space is to provide exceptional parks, open space and recreational opportunities while preserving our natural, historical and cultural resources. This includes managing close to 50 parks and dozens of trails! This section of the website is designed to help you discover and explore all Washoe County has to offer.

The Washoe County Health District's Chronic Disease Prevention Program has teamed up with Washoe County's GIS Technology Services to build an interactive regional park directory promoting park usage in our community. This interactive directory includes all parks in the Reno, Sparks and Washoe County jurisdictions. Filter by park amenity, name, or location to identify a park that fits your needs. The directory also includes a trail finder for residents to explore the area and view the scenery of Northern Nevada through hiking, biking, snowshoeing or horseback riding.
