At the Wilbur D. May Arboretum & Botanical Garden, we want to set you and your students up for success in the outdoor classroom. That's why we have developed curriculum that is hands on, engaging, thoughtful, and fun! We offer a variety of field trip programs for Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. In our Discover the Arboretum Station Tour, we provide students the opportunity to learn about plant communities, water quality, and ecosystems with hands on displays. Check out Wilbur's Explorer Pack for a new way to explore the Arboretum with field guides, activities, and much more.
We are proud to present our newest field trip for middle school students.
In partnership with the Reno Sparks Indian Colony, The Great Basin Tribes Station Tour is a dynamic field trip for students to learn about the identity and culture of the Native American tribes in our region.
To reserve a field trip fill out the Field Trip Request Form and email it to the Arboretum Educator.
