Join us with UNR psychology student Noelle Conover for a free walking lecture in the garden. Noelle will tell us the ways people have connected with nature since ancient times, how indigenous peoples still do, and how traditional Western culture can create a disconnect between people and their natural resources. She will also talk about the many benefits that plants can provide to our health, mental state, and the environment.

It should be informative and beautiful with all the fall colors in the gardens! Meet at the south arboretum entrance.

The Wilbur D. May Arboretum is proud to present Good Nature! Walking Tours for Older Adults (50+).  Each walk is designed around a theme and is carefully thought out to accommodate all those who attend.  Walks are led by volunteers, professionals, and enthusiasts.  Join us as we stroll through the gardens and learn something new.  The upcoming schedule can be found below and contact the Arboretum Educator to sign up.
