Wilbur D. May Arboretum Junior Naturalists Program

Grab your water bottle, sunscreen, and a pencil; it’s time to explore the Arboretum! The Wilbur D. May Arboretum Junior Naturalist Program is a “leaflet” of fun and engaging activities that has kids discover why the Arboretum is so special! Visit during the spring and summer to see the flowers come alive and put on a dazzling display, or in the fall as the trees show their true colors. Take your time and explore; like a museum’s rotating exhibits, changing seasons mean no two visits at the Arboretum are the same.

Print out the leaflet and complete the number of activities needed for your age. Get your leaflet here! A printer friendly version of the leaflet can be found here. Once complete come to the Arboretum office located near the Ranch House in San Rafael Regional Park. Scout Patch Program

Calling all Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts! Do you want to earn an Arboretum Patch? Complete the Wilbur D. May Arboretum Junior Naturalist Program along with the ONE additional activity from the “Scouts page” to earn a patch!  Get the Scouts page here.  Patch designs will be coming soon. Each patch will cost $1 (cash or check only). Checks should be made out to the "May Arboretum".
