Reno, Nev. Dec. 26, 2019. Nevada Wolf Pack Men’s Basketball and the Washoe County Human Services Agency (HSA) welcome the community to come out to Lawlor Events Center for the Have a Heart Adoption Awareness Basketball Game Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020.

The goal of the HSA and Wolf Pack partnership is to support Washoe County foster families, who will be recognized during the game and raise awareness about the more than 60 kids in need of a forever home.

In addition to children available through adoption, there are currently more than 800 children in Washoe County care. HSA ensures the safety, permanency and well-being of children who either temporarily or permanently cannot be safely maintained in their own homes.  HSA provides safety and stability in a nurturing home until the child is returned home to family or a permanent adoptive home is found.
