Senior Fest Celebrates Washoe County’s Elderly
Senior Fest features more than 60 agencies offering various services Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2019.

Reno, Nev. Aug. 28, 2019. The Washoe County Human Services Agency’s (HSA) Senior Services Division is proud to help sponsor Senior Spectrum’s Senior Fest 2019 at the Reno Town Mall on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2019, from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

In its 24th year, Senior Fest is a free event, offering more than 60 businesses and agencies working to connect seniors and caregivers to resources and vital services. The goal of Senior Fest is to promote healthy aging and wellness for Washoe County’s elderly.

The following services and much more will be offered to seniors who attend:

• Health screenings
• Flu shots
• Medicare Advantage
• VA benefits information
• Health insurance counseling
• Info about assisted/independent living
• Parks and recreation programs

What: Senior Fest 2019

Where: Reno Town Mall, located at 4001 S. Virginia St. 89502

When: Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2019, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Senior Fest will feature live music from Erika Paul and the Swingin’ Jazz Kats as well as a live performance from the El Dorado’s Showroom Cirque Show.

Parking is available at the Reno Town Mall and the Atlantis Resort parking lot. Shuttle service is provided by Lakeside Manor. Transportation by RTC is available nearby on Route 1: South Virginia St., and Route 6: Peckham Ln.
