Reno, Nev. July 2019. Artown, Spanish Springs Library, and Lazy 5 Regional Park presents "Spanish 
Springs Community Mural Creation & Painting Summer 2019 Workshops", led by upcoming Nevada Paiute and Yurok artist, Lena T. Wright.
This is your chance to be involved in creating and painting a new mural in your local community park! Instructed by Nevada Paiute and Yurok Artist, Lena Tseabbe Wright, she will guide participants in creating and painting a mural that tells a story of the community on blank walls at the unique "Hive" building in Lazy 5 Regional Park.
This event is part of a series of events (see below) that invite participants to help design the community mural and learn and engage in mural painting techniques first-hand. Participants are welcome to attend all or any session(s). This event is for all ages & is FREE!

- Sat 7/13/19 (9a-12p): Live Mural Painting Session 1/4 @ The Hive at Lazy 5 Regional Park, 7100 Pyramid Way Sparks, NV 89436 (next to the skate park)
- Sun 7/14/19 (9a-12p): Live Mural Painting Session 2/4 @ The Hive at Lazy 5 Regional Park, 7100 Pyramid Way Sparks, NV 89436 (next to the skate park)
- Sat 7/20/19 (9a-12p): Live Mural Painting Session 3/4 @ The Hive at Lazy 5 Regional Park, 7100 Pyramid Way Sparks, NV 89436 (next to the skate park)
