Reno, Nev. May 10, 2019. Washoe County’s historic Bowers Mansion will begin its 2019 tour season with a live Civil War Reenactment. Visitors will be transported to the days of Nevada’s statehood, enjoy the exhibits, grounds and tours of the mansion.
WHAT: Civil War Reenactment at Bowers Mansion.
WHEN: Saturday, May 18 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
WHERE: Bowers Mansion at 4005 US Highway 395 North, Carson City, NV (Washoe Valley).
DETAILS: The ongoing Civil War exhibits and demonstrations are free. Self-guided tours of the historic Bowers Mansion will be available for $7 Adults, $5 Children & Seniors.
“The Nevada Civil War Volunteers is a group of historical reenactors dedicated to preserving and sharing American history. We will escort you back in time to get a glimpse of life during the Civil War,” said Rebecca Van Sickle, NCWV Civilian Chief of Staff.

Bowers Mansion Regional Park is located at 4005 Old US Highway 395 North, Carson City, NV (21 miles south of Reno).
