Reno, Nevada. October 30, 2018. Washoe County Regional Animal Services is accepting applications from Washoe County residents who are interested in serving on the Washoe County Regional Animal Services Advisory Board.
Currently, there is one vacancy to be filled on the Regional Animal Services Advisory Board. The ideal Regional Animal Services Advisory Board Member will have a background in business, real estate and knowledge or experience related to homeowner’s associations, business and or financial operations; will have a commitment to serving two to five hours preparing for and attending quarterly advisory board meetings as well as any special meetings deemed necessary. Board members serve in a voluntary capacity.
The Regional Animal Services Advisory Board was adopted by the Washoe County Board of Commissioners in 2016 with the purpose to facilitate communication between community members and the Department to ensure that programs, operations and goals related to the care and safety of animals are consistent with the needs of our community.
