Reno, Nev. July 17, 2019. Washoe County Senior Services is a proud sponsor of Senior Day at the Barracuda Championship. All golf fans 55 and older are invited to enjoy free admission Thursday, July 25, 2019, at the award-winning Montréux Golf & Country Club.

All seniors have to do is simply show their ID at the gate for free admission. Entrance includes admission to the Washoe County Tent on the 9th green, courtesy of Washoe County Senior Services.

Washoe County Senior Services is kicking-off its Senior Ambassador Transportation program by providing complimentary shuttle service to Senior Day. Transportation is based on seat availability. Reservations are required to claim your seat to the golf tournament. For seat reservations, please call 775-328-2575.

Washoe County Senior Services is in need of volunteer drivers to help launch the Senior Ambassador Transportation program. Interested applicants should call 775-328-2588. The Senior Ambassador Transportation program will offer transportation for Washoe County’s elderly who live outside of the greater Reno/Sparks area.
