Reno, Nev. June 6, 2018. Washoe County, Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful, Washoe County Citizen Corps, Salvation Army and Volunteers of America are working together to host two sandbag community clean-up events in the Swan and Silver Lake areas, where heavier flood mitigation materials were deployed - and they just need you.

Volunteers Needed:

What: Sandbag Community Clean-Up Events

When: Saturday, June 23 and June 30, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Where: Volunteers need to please register at www.ktmb.org/volunteer and meet at the TMFPD Lemmon Valley Fire Station #223, 130 Nectar Street, Reno, 89506

A continental breakfast and coffee will be provided for volunteers, however volunteers are asked to please bring work gloves and a shovel if they have them.
