The Second Judicial District Court Celebrates Constitution Day
Festivities to take place Friday, Sept. 15, 2017

Reno, Nev. Sept. 11, 2017The Second Judicial District Court is pleased to announce it will celebrate Constitution Day 2017 on Friday, Sept. 15. 

Constitution Day 2017 festivities plan to celebrate the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution, including honoring all citizens by inviting guest speakers who have direct experience with the naturalization process.    

Also featured will be the “Constitutional Rights Corner” where participants can meet representatives from various government entities who will answer questions such as:

  • How do I register to vote? 
  • What if I get summoned for Jury Duty? 
  • Do I qualify for a court-appointed attorney? 
  • How do I initiate my case without an attorney?
  • How do I file a police report?

The District Court is pleased to open this event to the entire community:

What: Constitution Day 2017 celebration

Where: 1 S. Sierra Street, Reno, Nevada, Courthouse patio

When: Friday, Sept. 15, 12:00-1:00 p.m. 

Media Availability: Chief Judge Patrick Flanagan of the Second Judicial District Court will be available for interviews from 12-12:15 p.m.
