LakeCam Live Stream

Washoe County has launched a LakeCam in Lemmon Valley with a live, real-time look at Swan Lake water levels.

Elevation 4926-Feet This is the current flood protection level provided around most areas of Swan Lake, including residential neighborhoods and the Washoe County operated waste water treatment plant. The lake has not risen to this elevation in recorded history, but should it do so Washoe County will activate additional measures to protect the community.
Elevation 4924-Feet This is the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) designated 100-year storm event elevation. The Federal Government uses this designation for emergency management and to determine flood insurance requirements. This elevation is currently under review by Washoe County. The flooding in 2019 and 2017 has not risen to this elevation.
2019 Level This is the highest level Swan Lake reached in the winter and spring of 2019, which was Elevation 4923.5-Feet. This is also the highest measured level of Swan Lake in recent history.
2017 Level This is the highest level Swan Lake reached in the winter and spring of 2017, which was Elevation 4923.3-Feet
