Erin Dixon, MS is the Deputy District Health Officer for the Office of the District Health Officer.

Erin began her career at Northern Nevada Public Health, formerly Washoe County Health District, in the spring of 2002. She has a strong passion for public health and is focused on improving the health outcomes for the citizens and visitors of Washoe County. Over her nearly two decades of service she has held multiple positions at the Health District, including Program Coordinator, Fiscal Compliance Officer, Public Health Supervisor, and Division Director.

Outside of work, Erin enjoys spending time with her family. She enjoys the great outdoors and is an avid hiker, a want-to-be mountain biker, and a mediocre skier. Through it all, she is always grateful that she gets to call the Truckee Meadows home.
