Washoe County Health District Offers Fee Deferral - At the Washoe County District Board of Health meeting on March 25, 2020, members approved a fee deferral of annual renewal fee collection for businesses impacted by the COVID-19 emergency. An application must be submitted to apply. Please select the appropriate division below to apply for a fee deferral:
What the fee deferral means - The Washoe County District Board of Health has provided for a deferral of permit fees until the Governor lifts Emergency Directive 003 directing non-essential businesses to close. Once the order is lifted, you will receive an email providing a new due date by which your fees must be paid. This date will be 60 days from the date the Governor lifts the Emergency Directive. If fees are not received by this date, then all applicable late fees will be applied.
The Washoe County Health District is nationally accredited by the Public Health Accreditation Board and has jurisdiction over all public health matters in Reno, Sparks, and Washoe County through the policy-making Washoe County District Board of Health.
