The Washoe County Emergency Management Program assists local agencies and communities in preparing for emergencies to the extent feasible through training, development of plans and procedures, addition of equipment, and other measures that may reasonably be taken to enhance emergency preparedness.

Preparedness Events

Washoe County Emergency Management has a goal of supporting preparedness in our region as best we can. If you'd like us to attend a preparedness event, please submit a request to EmergencyManagement@washoecounty.gov at least 30 days prior to the event. We will do our best to attend or ensure there is representation from the preparedness community.
