Paul Lipparelli estimates he has logged almost 5000 hours serving as legal counsel for at the meetings of Nevada public bodies. He started his public lawyer career in Carson City in 1992 as deputy district attorney and has 16 years of service with the Washoe County District Attorney where he presently serves as Assistant District Attorney. Paul and his legal team represent the county’s boards, commissions and departments in matters ranging from daily legal advice to labor negotiations and litigation. On behalf of city and county agencies, Paul has done everything from appearing in small claims court to arguing in front of the Nevada Supreme Court. He has negotiated with Wall Street firms, been an integral part of ground-breaking public-private undertakings and helped navigate his clients through difficult legal and financial challenges large and small.
Mr. Lipparelli is a third-generation graduate of the University of Nevada and earned his law degree at University of Arizona College of Law. Paul is married to Carrie Lipparelli and they have 5 children, 2 grandchildren and 2 Chihuahuas.
