Thank you for taking the time to learn more about your Washoe County District Attorney's Office.  Through this site, it is my goal to provide an informative opportunity for the public to learn about the office.

I am proud of the long tradition of this office.  Since its establishment in 1864, the year Nevada achieved statehood, the District Attorney's Office has grown into a highly professional organization employing a dedicated staff of men and women who are committed to the public's safety.

As your elected District Attorney, it is my mission to maintain and improve upon that tradition.  The work of this office will be conducted for the people of this community at the highest level of integrity and professionalism in both the pursuit of justice in fighting crime and the advancement of the welfare of the county into the future.
