Our buildings are closed to the public however, we remain available to provide essential services with new socially aware business practices.
For the most expedient service, Washoe County employees should submit a work order through Asset Essentials or call our professional team at (775) 328-2170 for help reporting a a facility maintenance issue.

Facilities Management is responsible for managing the maintenance, infrastructure preservation, energy conservation, custodial services, landscaping, snow removal, and security for all County facilities. In addition, Facilities Management is responsible for the acquisition and disposition of property, and administration of County leased facilities.
The Washoe County Energy and Sustainability Strategy was developed by Washoe County’s Green Team and adopted by the Board of County Commission in 2010. The purpose of the strategy is to implement cost effective, energy-efficient technologies into County facilities and promote an energy conscious culture. Facility Use Information and Instructions
Use of County facilities by outside groups requires the approval of the Community Services Department. There are separate policies for Parks and the Library buildings.

- For Library reservations please contact Library Administration at (775)-327-8300.
Requests to use other County facilities require a written application to the Community Services Department and signature by the sponsoring group/responsible individual on the Facilities Use Application and Facilities Use Hold Harmless Agreement. The consumption of alcohol in county facilities is not allowed except as specifically outlined in the Facility Use Policy.
The requesting group or individual must sign the Facilities Use Application and Facilities Use Hold Harmless Agreement and show proof of the required amount of insurance once determined by the Division Director of Operations. The forms can also be obtained by contacting 328-2170.
Submit the Application to the Division Director of Operations – CSD by emailing the forms to email@example.com or faxing to 775-328-2110. A Facility Use Permit and a copy of the Hold Harmless Agreement will be provided to the requestor once approved by the Division Director of Operations.
Requests such as holding a press conference in front of the court house or at the County Complex require the verbal approval of the Division Director of Operations - CSD.
