The Washoe County Community Services Department continues to respond to the COVID-19 developments.

Dave Solaro was appointed Director of the Community Services Department in 2014 and appointed to the role of Assistant County Manager for Washoe County in September 2017.  Dave’s areas of responsibility include the Community Services Department, Regional Animal Services, Constituent Services and liaison to the District Health Board, the Regional Library System and Washoe County’s General Improvement Districts.
