Northern Nevada Disaster Victim Recovery Team (NNDVRT)

The Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner's Office is seeking individuals to join the Northern Nevada Disaster Victim Recovery Team (NNDVRT).

When a mass fatality incident occurs, the Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner's Office must mobilize to ensure all aspects of the mass fatality response are handled professionally and efficiently. Among the responsibilities are the search for and recovery of human remains.  Other duties and specialties include photography, scribing, mapping, evidence collection, technical rescue, and machine work.  The Northern Nevada Disaster Victim Recovery Team can deploy anywhere in Northern Nevada to almost any type of mass fatality incident.

 The Northern Nevada Disaster Victim Recovery Team is entirely compromised of volunteers.
