Community Involvement

Have a say in how your community looks, feels, operates and supports residents. Volunteer, tell us your thoughts, keep in touch and be a part of designing your community

Stay In Touch: For the latest news: visit our newsroom, sign up to receive County news via email, visit our Twitter and Facebook pages, or watch Washoe Television online or on Charter 193.

Tell Us: Share your thoughts on our services, policies and programs online, by phone, email or attend a community meeting. Have an influence by simply sharing your ideas and concerns. You may also contact your Commissioner directly or attend a Citizen Advisory Board meeting.

Volunteer: Help walk animals, support our libraries, care and advocate for our most vulnerable, become a volunteer fire fighter or participate on one of our 50 community boards. These are just a few of the many available opportunities for you to make a difference. Visit our volunteer opportunities and our boards and commissions for more information.
