Reason for seeking position:

I owe a debt to Education. Education lifted me from poverty both physically and mentally. It has changed my life from my first trade school in the military to the education I received at UNR. I aimed to repay this debt by volunteering for over a decade in this district. I want to give back and help our district provide successful, quality education in a safe environment for all our kids. I know success cannot be achieved by one alone and requires the ability to collaborate and reach consensus with input from all vested parties/families/communities.
