Citation court is held every Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. Check-in is required beforehand.  If the court session has started, you will be given one continuance for the following Wednesday date.  A second missed arraignment date will require you to post the full bail amount on the citation.

A request for a continuance will not be given over the phone; you must appear in person, or submit a request in writing via e-mail to the address above or by fax (775) 352-3004.  It is your responsibility to follow up with the court regarding your request to ensure the continuance has been granted.

The Sparks Justice Court accepts the following forms of payments:      

• Cash
• Check
• Cashier's Check
• Money Order

Include the following on your payment: Name of defendant issued citation and the citation number.

In addition to the above payment acceptance, you may pay using Western Union.

Visit any Western Union Agent location and fill out the Blue Quick Collect Send Form.  Make sure to include the following information:

• Pay to:              Sparks Justice Court
• Code City:         SPKJC
• State:                NV
• Citation Number

All three payment options for Western Union are subject to the service terms and conditions including different fees, send amounts, and other restriction in certain states.

If you must pay on a citation or other fine and are unable to do so during the courts regular business hours (Monday thru Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for payments), a drop-box is available for your convenience.
