Arraignments
| * | Criminal Arraignments begin at 10:00 a.m. |
| * | You must check in at the Arraignment counter no later than 9:30 a.m. |
| * | There are NO exceptions to this rule. |
| * | By law, you must be given your constitutional rights prior to the Arraignment hearing and that is accomplished in the courtroom via a video prior to the actual Arraignment hearing. It is imperative that you be in the courtroom at that time or you will not be arraigned that day and will have to return another day to be arraigned. |
| * | Once you have checked in the clerk at the Arraignment counter in the Criminal Division, you must go to the second floor where a bailiff will direct you to the proper courtroom. |
Reno Justice Court is located at 1 South Sierra Street, Reno, Nevada on the southwest corner of Sierra Street and Island Avenue next to the Truckee River. The Criminal Division is located on the first floor. After you pass through the security area turn to the right and enter through the double glass doors immediately in front of you as you enter the lobby area. The Criminal Division will be straight ahead.
There are three (3) public handicapped spaces located on the west side of Sierra Street. It is suggested that you park in the Gallery Parking Garage or other parking facility.
