Kathryn L. "Kathy" Burke was elected Washoe County Recorder in 1998 and took office January 4, 1999. She has worked in the Washoe County Recorder`s Office since 1985, working through the ranks. She also worked in the Mineral County Recorder/Auditor`s Office from 1982 to 1985. She is a member of the National Association of County Recorders, Election Officials and Clerks (NACRC), Nevada Electronic Records Committee (NERC), County Fiscal Officer`s Association (CFOA), Property Records Industry Association (PRIA) and the Nevada Association of Counties (NACO).
