The Equipment Services Division`s mission is to provide safe, reliable and cost effective fleet vehicles and specialized heavy equipment to other County Departments. Five maintenance facilities, staffed with a number of highly skilled SAE (Society of Automotive Excellence) certified mechanics provide the majority of vehilce/equipment maintenance and repairs. The two primary fleet vehicle maintenece/repair facilities are located at the Longley Lane Corporation Yard and the other strictly dedicated to the Washoe County Sheriff`s Office at 911 Parr Blvd. Both facilities are under the supervision of Ed Caples. Sharing the Longley Lane Corporation Yard is a heavy equipment maintenance/repair faciity with satellite locations in Incline Village and Gerlach, Nevada. These facilities are under the management of Gerry Voivod. |
