May Center Museum Collage

A cascading waterfall and indoor garden invite you into the museum and adjoining exhibit halls. The museum presents the incredible collections of Wilbur D. May's numerous world travels and life as a Nevada rancher. The Museum is open year-round and offers many special exhibits and programs throughout the year.

May Center Gift Shop - Small The Museum is supported by the gift shop, where you'll find an extensive selection of unique items, both educational and beautiful. Plus, your purchase will enable the museum to bring educational and fun exhibits for families of the Truckee Meadows.

Winter hours for the museum are 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Wednesday – Saturday. Please see the MORE ABOUT THE MUSEUM page for information about the KING TUT: "Wonderful Things" from the Pharaoh's Tomb exhibit.

Good News! The KING TUT exhibit has been extended by one week to take advantage of the Memorial Day Weekend. The exhibit will now be on display through Monday, May 27 and the Museum store will offer a special clearance sale with 25 percent off all Egyptian-themed gifts during the entire week of May 23 - May 27, 2012.
