Rush to Reno: Millionaires in the One Sound State

This official NV150 sesquicentennial exhibit explores the marketing campaign that Nevada used during the 1930s and 40s to attract millionaires to the state. Get the story behind famous Reno residents like Wilbur May, E. L. Cord, Max Fleischmann, and more! Features original artifacts on display for the first time.

Admission: $5.00 for adults / $3.50 for seniors and children.

Great Reno Balloon Race Open House:  Enjoy free admission to the May Museum all weekend long! Come explore the summer exhibit, "Rush to Reno: Millionaires in the One Sound State," and the permanent May collection of artifacts.

3rd annual Great May Center Pumpkin Walk: 
Bring the whole family for an evening stroll through the May Museum and Arboretum. 500 amazingly carved pumpkins will be lit and on display along the path. Kids can trick-or-treat along the way with costumed volunteers.

Cost: $5.00 per person. Advance tickets sale dates TBA.

*This event is stroller friendly and not-too-spooky!
