In the 1930s Nevada embraced a "One Sound State" marketing identity, in an attempt to lure wealthy Californians to purchase land here. Learn the story of Nevada's first marketing campaign and find out which millionaires relocated. Discover new stories and never-before-seen artifacts from the Wilbur May collection. Find out the lasting legacy of the One Sound State policy in Nevada. This exhibit is an NV 150 signature sesquicentennial event. Admission: $5.00 for adults; $3.50 for children and seniors.
Open Spaces and Special Places: The Art of Conservation

A benefit art exhibit and sale for the Nevada Land Trust. Throughout the year, more than 30 local and regional artists spent time with NLT on and around project sites, at “paint-ins” spanning all the seasons. Each artist has submitted up to five works of art, most of which represent NLT's many project areas. This multi-medium art show will appeal to all!
Grossology: The (Impolite Science of the Human Body)

Ewwww! That's the reaction visitors of all ages will have when they see Grossology -- a science-in-disguise exhibition with the answers to all the slimy, oozy, crusty, stinky questions about the human body. With more than 20 interactive displays and games, Grossology is designed to give kids and adults the chance to explore the good, the bad, and the downright ulgy science about how the body works.
