Profile: Gabrielle Enfield
Ms. Enfield has served as the County Grants Administrator since 2001. She administers the county’s Community Support program, Low Income Housing Trust Fund grant Community Development Block Grant program, is lead staff for the Washoe County Human Services Consortium, represents Washoe County on community human service associations and projects, provides leadership for community initiatives as needed; and assists county staff with the development of grant proposals that provide a substantial benefit to the inhabitants of Washoe County.
Ms. Enfield serves on the State CDBG Advisory Board, the State CDBG Housing Advisory Board, and is a member of the Reno Area Alliance for the Homeless, the Human Services Network Board, and is staff to the 10 Year Plan to End Homelessness Committee.
Ms. Enfield has over thirteen years of experience in all aspects of grants and contract administration. Prior to joining Washoe County she served as the Washoe County School District’s Grant Writer. Ms. Enfield also spent two years at Washington State University as a Grant and Contract Coordinator, and six years at the University of Idaho, Center on Developmental Disabilities as a Project Director, Loan Program Manager, and Information and Referral System Coordinator.
Ms. Enfield holds a degree of Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Idaho.
