  • General Science Collection - Provides information on all aspects of the scientific world including full text coverage for more than 60 of the most popular science publications. Some examples of the publications included are Discover, International Wildlife and Scientific American.
  • Grolier Online - A comprehensive source of nonfiction content for grades 3 and up, Grolier Online provides access to two online encyclopdias.  The New Book of Knowledge features reference and current events information for elementary school and higher.  The Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia has quick reference with rich media for middle school and higher.  For access from outside the library enter username - WCLS and password - WCLS.
  • Junior Reference Collection - Offers easy access to the core curriculum areas, including history, literature, science, social studies, and more. Contains biographies and lets you search for primary sources, reference materials or multimedia content.
  • Kids InfoBits - A database developed especially for beginning researchers in Kindergarten through Grade 5. This database covers geography, current events, the arts, science, health, people, government, history, sports and more.
  • Primary Search - (1990 - present) - Provides full text for nearly 70 popular, magazines for elementary school research. All full text articles included in the database are assigned a reading level indicator.
  • Science Resource Center - In-depth, one-stop source for all science-related research needs. Focuses on key concepts taught in school classrooms such as earth science, science history, life science, physical science, science and technology, space and much more.
  • Searchasaurus - Especially for children to search thousands of articles, an online general encyclopedia and a lots of information from around the world. Easy to search by topic and includes the ability to search by reading level.
  • TumbleBooks - A collection of animated, talking picture books which teach young children the joys of reading in a format they'll love.
