Washoe County encourages lifelong learning and the professional development of all employees. Excellence in Public Service is a series of certificate programs that recognizes successful completion of essential employee development courses. New Employee Orientation
This training is designed to introduce new employees to Washoe County and provide them information that is critical to successful employment with the organization. It includes an overview of County Mission, Vision, Values, Strategic Priorities and organizational structure and functions; an overview of the benefits of County employment and a review of critical County policies. The Learning Center
