ACI Specialty Benefits Assistance program offers free, confidential and professional assistance helping employees and their family members in their everyday life concerns and struggles.  The EAP includes two components of services: Mental health assessments and Work/Life benefit services.  Washoe County employees and their family members can have up to 5 face to face sessions per incident with a licensed clinician for assessment, referral and short-term problem resolution.  The Work/Life services consists of unlimited Legal and Financial consultation with an Attorney and/or Financial planner as well as unlimited Childcare and Eldercare information and referral services. 

Support is available for both professional development and personal growth with a variety of programs including, but not limited to, assistance with depression, anxiety, stress, legal or financial problems or problems with marriage/sexuality, parenting/step parenting, alcohol, drugs or other psychological difficulties, improving communication, and adjusting to retirement.
