The Nevada State Health Division is responsible for most of the NRS and NAC Chapters 444 - SANITATION regulations except for solid waste. The Washoe County District Board of Health and its agents are responsible for enforcing these regulations within Washoe County.
Several issues included in the SANITATION regulations are Construction and Labor Camps, Children's Camps, Schools, Public Institutions, and Used Bedding and Mattresses.
