Announcing the 2010 Poster and Coloring Contest Winners!
The goal of Clean Hands Month is to decrease the spread of infectious diseases by empowering individuals to educate and help protect their communities. The simple act of hand washing is the single most important action that one can take to prevent the onset of illness and the spread of infection.
More than 272 participants from Washoe County submitted posters and coloring sheets and jingles to raise awareness of the importance of Hand Washing.
The posters and coloring contest submission were great; we had a hard time picking just one winner.
Thank you to all of the participants in the poster/coloring and jingle contest and for becoming more Hand Aware!
