Debt Management Commission

The Washoe County Debt Management Commission is comprised of one elected representative from each of the following entities: Washoe County, the City of Reno, the City of Sparks, and the Washoe County School District; one member representing the General Improvement Districts; and two at-large members. The Debt Management Commission meets quarterly, and as needed, and is charged with reviewing and approving debt issuance by the local entities, as well as oversight of the entities' indebtedness and debt management plans.
