Board of County Commissioners

Washoe County is governed by a citizen-elected Board of County Commissioners. The County Commissioners meet on the second, third and fourth Tuesdays of each month to conduct the regular business of the County. The Board also holds numerous special meetings for the County budget, future strategic and land use planning, joint sessions with the other local entities as necessary.
