The mission of the Organizational Effectiveness Committee is to share knowledge and best practices to build a better Washoe County organization. The OEC encourages constructive discussion on the role and responsibilities of local government in our changing world, and advises the County on implementing needed strategic changes.
The existing membership of the Organizational Effectiveness Committee includes one representative from the County Commission; the County Manager; and seven "at-large" members from the private or not-for-profit sector and five Commissioner appointees and one representative of the Washoe County employee bargaining units.
The Washoe County Organizational Effectiveness committee meets bi-monthly on the first Wednesday of the month, 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., at the Washoe County Administration Complex, 1001 E. Ninth.
