GENERAL ANIMAL SERVICES INFORMATION

 

Washoe County Regional Animal Services is located at 2825-A Longley Lane
between Rock and Mira Loma in Reno, NV  (1/4 mile south of Rock Blvd)

Shelter hours are:
All Services, 10:00am to 5:00pm, Monday - Friday (excluding holidays)

Reclaiming an Owned Pet Only:
Monday – Friday (excluding holidays) 8:00am to 5:00pm
Saturday and Sunday 11:00am to 4:00pm 
Holidays 11:00am to 3:00pm

The Animal Services Dispatch phone number is 775-322-3647, the Dispatch phone is answered from 7am – 10:00pm, 7 days a week (including holidays) and should only be used when requesting an animal control officer respond.  You can also submit a complaint or request online and in after-hour emergencies you can access the On-Call officer by calling 911.

Washoe County Regional Animal Services is funded by revenues from the restricted voter-approved property tax override which is completely separate from the County’s General Fund; 2011/2011 Budget Plan.
